حقیقت دوگانه و نظریۀ عقل هیولانی ابن‌رشد

چکیده

ابن‌رشد و ابن‌رشدیان متهم به «حقیقت دوگانه» شده‌اند؛ یعنی معتقدند که یک مسئله می‌‌‌تواند در دین حقیقت باشد در حالی که نقیض آن در فلسفه صادق است. در بخش اول مقاله تاریخ و معنای این نظریه از دیدگاه کلیسا بررسی شده، در بخش دوم به رأی ابن‌رشد در باب چگونگی بقای نفس در دو دسته از آثار فلسفی و کلامی­اش پرداخته‌ایم، و در بخش سوم با ارزیابی نظر ابن‌رشد در این دو دسته آثارش این نتیجه به دست آمده که رأی ابن‌رشد در باب عقل هیولانی و بقای مشترک و کلی آن پس از مرگ (وحدت عقل) با رأی او در باب بقای نفوس فردی در آثار کلامی متناقض نیست، زیرا وی در مورد نفس قائل به اشتراک لفظی است. لذا نمی­توان او را معتقد به حقیقت دوگانه دانست بلکه او به وحدت حقیقت باور دارد. بنابراین ابن‌رشد را دوحقیقتی خواندن نشان از عدم درک آرای وی دارد.

چکیده [English]

Averroists are accused of believing the "Double Truth" theory, based
on which a proposition might be true in religion, and, at the same
time, its contradict is philosophically true. In this article, at first, the
history and significance of this theory is investigated, second, the
Averroes' view about the post-mortem existence of the soul is studied,
and, third, through investigating his views, in his philosophical and
theological works, we show that his points of view on material
intellect and its being common and single for all human beings in the
afterlife (unity of Intellect) in his Philosophical works do not
contradict his views on post- mortem existence of individual souls in
his Theological works.
