Final Manuscript Submission Checklist

Before submitting a manuscript to the journal, authors must ensure that all of the following requirements are fully met. Failure to comply with these requirements may result in the manuscript being returned to the authors or delays in the peer review process.

 

  • Category | Checklist Items
  • Scope, Originality, and Ethics
  • The manuscript is original, has not been previously published (except in permitted forms), and is not under consideration by another journal.
  • The content is aligned with the aims and scope of the journal.
  • The work complies with all relevant COPE ethical guidelines and includes an ethics approval and/or informed consent statement, where applicable.
  • Any use of generative artificial intelligence has been fully disclosed in a statement at the end of the manuscript.
  • Written permission has been obtained for the use of all copyrighted materials (including images, tables, and excerpts).

 

  • Required Files
  • Five mandatory files have been uploaded:
    1. Anonymized main manuscript file
    2. Title page
    3. Conflict of Interest declaration form
    4. Cover letter
    5. Similarity‑check certificate (Samim‑e Noor)

 

  • Formatting and Content
  • The manuscript is prepared in an editable format (.doc or .docx) and formatted in single‑column layout.
  • The main manuscript file is fully anonymized, with all author names, affiliations, acknowledgements, and identifying information removed from the text, figures, captions, and supplementary materials.
  • The length of the article must be at least 7,000 words and no more than 8,000 words.
  • The abstract is 150–200 words, contains no references, and avoids non‑standard abbreviations.
  • Three to five keywords that reflect the main topics of the article are provided.
  • All in‑text citations appear in the reference list, and all references cited in the list appear in the text; references follow the APA style.
  • A Data Availability Statement (DAS) is included to clarify how the research data can be accessed.
  • All tables, figures, and supplementary materials are cited in the text and prepared in high quality.

 

  • Author Details
  • Complete contact information for the corresponding author (email address, postal address, and telephone number) is provided on the title page.
  • All listed authors meet the authorship criteria (substantial contribution, approval of the final version, and acceptance of responsibility for the work).
  • All sources of financial support and any conflicts of interest have been disclosed in the required documents and summarized on the title page.
