Peer Review Process

 

  • Receive article from the electronic journals system of the University of Tehran.
  • Preliminary review of the article by an expert.
  • Submission to the editor-in-chief for initial evaluation.
  • Creation of a preliminary archive file.
  • If not approved, notify the responsible author after two weeks.
  • If approved by the editor-in-chief, send a letter to the author for some initial revisions to the article.
  • Appoint reviewers.
  • Create a review file for the article.
  • Weekly report to the respected editor-in-chief of the journal.
  • Weekly meeting with the editor-in-chief of the journal to resolve any ambiguities in the articles.
  • Submission of revised articles after evaluation by the reviewers to the responsible author or authors.
  • Submission of the article to the final reviewer after revisions are complete.
  • Placing the article file in the section for articles ready for the editorial board.
  • Holding a session of the editorial board every six months to review the articles ready for the board.
  • Sending acceptance letters for articles that have received final approval at the editorial board meeting.
  • Submission of articles ready for editing to the editorial team of the electronic journals system.
  • Submission of edited articles to the opinion page by the system itself.
  • Sending page-edited articles to authors for three days (if there is any discrepancy in the names and identities of the authors or if pages, tables, and charts are rearranged, they must be sent a letter to the system).
  • The electronic publication process of the journal in the electronic journals system of the university.
  • The system itself sends electronic articles to Magiran, SID, ISC.
  • The journal's expert sends electronic articles to Srlst.
