Aims and Scope
The Journal of Philosophy and Kalam has been founded for the purpose of fundamental research and inquiry in the fields of Islamic philosophy and theology, analytical philosophy, and logic. The journal aims to publish articles that approach these fields from various perspectives, including historical, analytical, and comparative approaches, and that contain innovative and novel points to help expand the boundaries of knowledge in these areas.
The journal accepts articles related to Islamic theology and various Islamic philosophical traditions, such as Peripatetic philosophy and Illuminationist philosophy and transcendental Philosophy. Analytical philosophy is a philosophical approach that emphasizes clarity and precision in argumentation. The journal accepts and publishes articles that address important questions in analytical philosophy, such as the nature of meaning, truth, knowledge, as well as topics related to ethics (moral philosophy), metaphysics, and epistemology.
Logic is a fundamental tool in both analytical philosophy and Islamic Philosophy. The journal accepts research articles related to logic and its application in philosophy.
The goal of the journal is to provide an opportunity and space for original and high-quality research in the aforementioned fields and to promote dialogue and collaboration among scholars working in these areas. It seeks to expose the innovations of scholars in the fields of theology, philosophy, and logic to intellectual scrutiny, so that small-scale research can gain synergies in the process of critique and evaluation within the scientific community, and provide an appropriate framework for the transformation of human sciences.
