His clearly expressed view in his <em>Ta’liqat</em> is that individuation is due two categories of time and position. However, Mulla Sadra argues that al-Farabi holds that it is due to how something exists. In what follows, the author is, first, seeking to clearly define the concept of individuation according to al-Farabi. He has, then, gone to determine how the verbal and logical structures of the proposition denoting al-Farabi’s view is. And, third, what the proposition denoting al-Farabi’s view on individuation bears to his indicative core idea in his web of meaning. The conceptual analysis has shown that, for al-Farabi, individuation is a relational concept. The propositional analysis proves that al-Farabis’s view on individuation of position is suffering from vagueness though. The systematic analysis demonstrates that the issue of individuation has been proposed for the later al-Farabi as a question and it bears a tie to his indicative core idea through existence. Nonetheless, it does not mean that one might refer to al-Farabi’s view on individuation as a proof to ascribe the primacy of existence theory to al-Farabi.  <strong> </strong> دیدگاه فارابی در مسئلۀ تشخص دو گونه است: اول، دیدگاه انتسابی است. از دید ملاصدرا، فارابی معتقد است تشخص به نحوه وجود شیء می‌باشد. دوم، دیدگاه صریح فارابی در کتاب <em>تعلیقات</em> است. وی در این کتاب معتقد است عامل تشخص، زمان و وضع می‌باشند. ابهام در این دیدگاه در مفهوم واژه‌ها، گزاره و چگونگی ارجاع دیدگاه وی به دالّ مرکزی اندیشه وی نمود یافته است. این مقاله رصد می‌کند که مفهوم تشخص به صورت واضح و متمایز از دید فارابی چیست؟ ساختار منطقی و زبانی گزارۀ منعکس‌کنندۀ دیدگاه فارابی چگونه است؟ و گزارۀ منعکس‌کنندۀ دیدگاه فارابی در تشخص چه رابطه‌ای با دال مرکزی اندیشه فارابی، در شبکه معنایی­اش دارد. تحلیل مفهومی از تشخص نشان داده است که تشخص نزد فارابی مفهومی نسبی است، تحلیل گزاره‌ای نشان داده است که دیدگاه فارابی در تشخص ذی وضع با سکوت و با ابهام ساختاری مواجه است، و تحلیل سیستمی در این تحقیق نشان داده است که مسئلۀ تشخص در فارابی متأخر به عنوان یک مسئله مطرح شده است و تشخص از طریق وجود با دال مرکزی اندیشۀ وی پیوند دارد. اما این بدان معنا نیست که دیدگاه فارابی در تشخص بتواند به عنوان پشتیبان استناد دیدگاه اصالت وجود به فارابی باشد. https://jitp.ut.ac.ir/article_74802_c5b8a7479f29591981d958a17a60b59a.pdf
